Kathak intensives with Sujata Banerjee MBE - various dates between Dec 2019 and April 2020

A unique opportunity for senior Kathak dancers to learn from teacher & choreographer Sujata Banerjee. 

​

These sessions are suitable for vocational and professional level Kathak dancers who want to improve their Kathak practice and also get a ‘scientific analysis’ of their techniques. We aim to give tools to improve and understand the dancing body, stylistic nuances, challenging rhythm and music. The sessions will be on live music accompaniment.

 

December sessions

Date: 21 and 22 December 2019
Time: 11am to 2pm
Fee: £50 per day, £90 for both days (SBDC students gets £5 concession - £45 and £85)
Venue: Shishukunj Bhavan, 25 - 27 High St, Edgware HA8 7EE

 

January sessions
Date: : 11, 12, 18 and 19 January 2020 (Saturday 18 January - cancelled)
Time: 3pm to 6pm
Fee: £50 per day (if you have attended any previous sessions  - £45) 

Venue: tbc
 

April sessions

Date: 10 and 11 April:
Time: 10am  to 1pm
Fee: £45 each day (if you have attended any previous ones otherwise £50 as one off)

Venue: tbc
