Kathak intensive with Sujata Banerjee MBE and Team- Part 2

Five day long intensive and fun Kathak workshops to improve technique, explore creativity and learn more about Dance with others in the studio. 

It’s mainly ‘in-person F2F’ training with only a few classes available remotely - check the schedule

Venue: Shishukunj Bhavan, 25 - 27 High St, Edgware HA8 7EE

Level 1: Suitable for 8 - 11 year olds, with minimum 1 year of Kathak experience 

Date: 1st - 4th September

Time: 10-12pm everyday 

Fee: £80 for 4 days

Level 2:  Suitable for 11 - 16 year olds, with minimum 3 years Kathak experience 

Date: 1st - 4th September

Time: 10-1 pm everyday

Level 3: Only Suitable for adults with minimum 1 year Kathak experience 

Date: 1st - 3rd September

Time: 7-9pm everyday

Kathak intensive with Sujata Banerjee MBE and Team- Part 1

A unique opportunity for Kathak dancers to learn face to face as well as online, from teacher & choreographer Sujata Banerjee. This will be an amazing immersive experience of dancing Kathak with other complimentary activities such as singing, yoga, tala, theory, lectures and much more.

​

These sessions are specially designed for all Kathak enthusiasts who want to improve technique, learn new repertoire, understand biomechanics of movements and enjoy the energy of dancing in a 'real' studio with 'real' people. The sessions will be with live music accompaniment.

SBDC holds the right to cancel or adjust timing of the course, if necessary. The fee is non- refundable but will be refunded if a session is cancelled by SBDC.

 

Please note that we will not have a summer residency this year.
