SBDC Youth Dance Programme

With the Arts Council grant we re-launched our Youth Dance programme.

The aim is to offer a range of activities, invite established choreographers and artists across a range of styles, create new work, meet and collaborate with diverse youth groups and perform on high-profile dance platforms.

During the pandemic, we recognise the need to nurture the enthusiasm of passionate young dancers, offer them opportunities to challenge themselves and encourage a sense of pride in the heritage of classical Indian dance and music.

Excellence and innovation in training and development, has always been central to our work and this project strengthens this area of our work with this age group, to support in building confidence, resilience and passion for dance.
